Elegantly crafted in native Walnut with a single person in mind, these Wooden Urns are handmade within the tranquil environment of New Melleray Abbey by Trappist Monks. Biscuit joints are used in place of screws, and all natural beeswax harvested in the USA is used instead of staining. Currently New Melleray Abbey plants 40 new trees for every 1 tree that is harvested to ensure sustainability. This product meets the standards of the Green Burial Council for burial use.
