Granite is the perfect choice for any outdoor application where the stones natural composition can help defend itself against scratching, acids and other outdoor occurrences. As with any natural stone, there may be slight mineral deposits in the granite, also referred to as “diamond” flake.
The poem is laser etched and can be done with gold or silver text. It is ideal for framing, where you can place the poem on one side, and your pet’s picture on the other. The plate has pressure sensitive adhesive on the back, so you just peel and stick. Although the plates are made of durable black aluminum, these are not recommended for outdoor use, as the gold color may fade if left in direct sunlight and also the plate could become scratched. These would make a beautiful and heartfelt gift for someone you know that is grieving. The poems can be done in singular or plural versions, replacing the words “we” with the word “I” and vice versa. If your pet was a non-paw print type pet, or if you want to use this plate for a human, we can substitute hearts on the border instead of paw prints. Please include this in with your engraving information if you want either of these options to be done. Your pet’s name and date of death will be engraved on the plate. If your pet’s name was five letters or less, we can put it inside the heart shape, if desired, on selected plates where indicated. For pet’s with names that had six or more letters, the name and date will be engraved in the lower right corner.
