Capture your beloved pet in a timeless piece of bespoke artwork.My artwork is 100% original, hand drawn and custom made – it is NOT a digital representation.My artwork is classed as ‘mixed media’ as more than 1 type of material is used to produce it (watercolours, acrylics and sometimes pastels), however the dominant medium is coloured pencil. I work from a photograph that you will need to supply to me, the better your photograph the more detail I’m able to capture. Although I only work from one specific photograph, it’s great if you can send me several photos so I’m able to choose the best pose that will make for the best illustration.A good photograph should be:•clear and crisp•taken in good light, ideally natural light•taken at eye level (photo’s taken high above the subject don’t work well)•taken with limited shadow present on the face (the eyes, nose and mouth are key to gaining a likeness so I need to see the detail in these features)I endeavour to produce your pet portrait within 2 weeks of receiving the order, however if a shorter time frame is needed to meet a special occasion (birthday/xmas etc), please do get in touch first and I will try to accommodate your request as best I can.All paints and pencils used are professional, high quality art materials applied to paper with a minimum 200 gsm weight.Artwork will be posted in strong cardboard tubes/envelopes to ensure if arrives dry and damage free.All prices do NOT include framing.To place your order:Select ‘Buy It Now’ and follow prompts to complete your order.Send me your photo ASAP – go to your order details and click “Contact Seller”, select “General question” and use the photo button at the bottom to upload your image.I will confirm receipt of photo.I will complete your pet portrait and post it to you within 14 days.
