The poem is laser etched and can be done with gold or silver text. It is ideal for framing, where you can place the poem on one side, and your pet’s picture on the other. The plate has pressure sensitive adhesive on the back, so you just peel and stick. Although the plates are made of durable black aluminum, these are not recommended for outdoor use, as the gold color may fade if left in direct sunlight and also the plate could become scratched. These would make a beautiful and heartfelt gift for someone you know that is grieving. The poems can be done in singular or plural versions, replacing the words “we” with the word “I” and vice versa. Email me if you want this change to be done. Your pet’s name and date of death will be engraved on the plate. If your pet’s name was five letters or less, we can put it inside the heart shape, if desired, on selected plates where indicated. For pet’s with names that had six or more letters, the name and date will be engraved in the lower right corner. This is a 5/8″H x 2-7/8″W quality bright brass plate to engrave your pet’s name and dates on. It has a diamond cut double edge border and will be engraved with your choice of Gold or Silver plate, Block or Script style font, and the choice of having paw prints, bones, or hearts added around your pet’s name, or just text only. Please try to limit the name of pet to 10 letters and/or spaces so the text and design will fit on the plate and still be readable. Choose any size height up to 2-1/2″H and any size width up to 3″W. Just an FYI – BIGGER is NOT always BETTER! You want the plate to accent your text, not swallow it. This is the biggest delay in holding up the engraving. The plate is made of durable plexi-brass, which is weather resistant and won’t fade. Plexi-brass is two layers of a plastic type material that resembles brass. The engraving machine cuts through the first layer, exposing the black layer beneath it. This is preferable to many people, as the black print shows clearly against the gold or silver plate. This material can be used indoor or out. It is ideal for use on outdoor memorials such as headstones or grave markers. Many people also use them for scrapbooks, shadow boxes, urns and frames. Our Custom Photo Plates are the perfect solution for those who have urns that do not have a photo slot and you want to display your pet’s picture on their memorial. We offer multiple frame sizes and each plate will include a pre-cut, acid-free Clear Film circle to place over your picture to protect it from dust or damage. Please NOTE: You will be using your own photo, we do not put the photo in the plate. We send your custom engraved plate and an included acid-free Clear Film circle cut out that goes over your photo for protection. This plate is ideal for an outdoor memorial. You can attach it to a bench, a pre-existing memorial, or this is perfect for dog parks or pet fund raisers. The plate is weather resistant and engraved with professional top of the line engraving facilities. You can choose your plate to have screw holes or no screw holes. If you choose screw holes, there will be a a 3/16″ screw hole on each end. We can either put a self-adhesive strip on the back, or you can choose no backing if you want to glue them yourself. The Distressed Urn is an attractive, unique urn is made of wood and is felt lined on the inside. It has brass corner brackets and a unique brass latch on the front. On the top of the urn is a space where the custom engraved name plate will be attached. The plate has a circle frame where we will transfer your pet’s picture. This is a two piece plate, as we found that using an aluminum disc allows a nice contrast to a matte finished plate plus allows your picture to maintain the vibrant colors of your photo. The disc fits seamlessly into the photo frame, so you would never know there were two pieces. These plates are unique and desirable, as it has the option of using a box urn and still having a picture of your pet on the outside.The urn is available in two sizes to meet your needs. The large urn measures 4.25″H x 11″W x 7.75″D and can accommodate large pets that weight up to 200 lbs. The plate is larger as well and the disc is a full 3″ Diameter.The small urn measures 3.5″H x 9.5″W x 6.25″D and can hold pets that weighed up to 100 lbs. The Moon Red Memories urn is an attractive final resting home for smaller pets that weighed up to 28 lbs (approximately two cups of ashes). The urn has a meticulously applied maroon finish, layered with three coats of polyurethane to enhance its durability and aesthetic appeal. The urn’s base is adorned with scalloped edging, adding a touch of sophistication to its design.The top of the urn has a space for your favorite 4-3/4” x 3-1/8” photo of your pet, which is easily inserted from within the urn.
