This listing is for one stainless steel cremation pendant on a large 1″ stainless steel key ring. If you would like the smaller .5″ ring instead, leave a note with payment. The pendant has an empty chamber that is designed to hold the ashes of your beloved pet upon his or her passing. This listing is for ONLY ONE PENDANT AND ONE KEY RING. We have many other dog and cat-themed cremation pendants available in our store if you would like to check them out, too, to make sure you are selecting your favorite. We do also sell all of our cremation pendants by themselves, as necklaces on attractive, sturdy stainless steel chains, or on smaller .5″ key rings (as seen in the photos). You can view these in our eBay store, or contact us for assistance. Again, this listing here is for the pendant urn with the larger key ring. The photos are just to show you different angles of the pendant, a comparison between the two sizes of keychains available, and to give you a better feel for the size of the urn itself. This is lovely, beautiful pendant. It is about 20mm or 3/4 inch tall in both height and width. The silver paw prints are on a black enamel background. The hole for the chain or keyring goes directly through the pendant and the heart tilts sideways, as seen in the photos. The back has a little bit of flat space and can be engraved, although we do not offer this service ourselves. Most of your local jewelry stores will offer this service for a small fee. We offer a large variety of pendant urns to choose from, so feel free to browse around in our store to make sure you select your favorite.The pendant can be filled using tweezers or a tiny funnel. If you do not have a funnel, you can make one out of a sheet of paper, and it will work just fine. First, unscrew the “door” on the bottom side of the pendant using a tiny flat head screwdriver, like one used for eyeglasses. Place the tip of the funnel into the hole of the chamber. Add a small bit of ashes to the funnel, and carefully tap the funnel until the chamber is filled. A toothpick can be used to guide the ashes, if needed. With tweezers, just pinch a small amount of ash and the place it into the opening. Be sure to screw the cap back on tightly (but be careful not to over-tighten). Then, the pendant can be worn next to your heart at all times. To form a permanent seal, you can use a touch of metal-to-metal adhesive. Some people prefer them to remain able to open to scatter the ashes in meaningful places, and then be refilled back at home. NOTE: The pendant is NOT hollow; rather, there is a tiny chamber right under the screw, so only a small amount of ashes are needed. If you need a pendant that holds more, this is not the right style for you. Please check out the pendants in our store with the words LARGE VIAL in the title – they hold quite a bit more. Stainless steel is extremely durable and can be worn even during bathing. This includes the chain, which will not rust, tarnish, or discolor no matter how many times you get it wet. Again, if you are going to be wearing it or using it as a key chain, be sure to seal it with a touch of superglue. Jostling can cause unsealed pendants to open unexpectedly and spill ashes. You can clean the pendant with rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. It will not damage any part of the pendant. The pendant will come sealed in a tiny plastic zip-loc bag, with a little card with information about RescueArtWorks! A portion of the proceeds goes directly towards helping homeless animals find their way to new loving homes. It’s a great way to honor your own dog or cat’s life. If this is for a gift, we are more than happy to send it to your recipient and can write a pretty little note for you, if you leave us a message letting us know how you want it to read. We also can tastefully gift wrap it in some colorful tissue paper if you request it (it’s free!) You can mix and match from any items in our store to meet the 10 items minimum. Buyers will receive one pendant urn sealed in a little plastic zip-loc bag, which will be mailed in a small padded mailing envelope. Items are mailed through the United States Postal Service, using First Class shipping, and normally arrive within a week after purchase within the US, but this is NOT a guarantee!! Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for delays caused by the USPS, and they do happen from time to time. International shipping takes longer, of course. Canadian orders take 1-2 weeks on average and overseas orders are usually 3-4 weeks. Every now and again a package will get held up in customs and take longer. We have no explanation for the variance, nor any control over it, so please do not order if you need it by a certain deadline, unless you are willing to upgrade to USPS Priority or Priority Express shipping (USA only).
