We select stones on a random color basis but we do offer the ability to select a color for an added fee. On average these weigh approximately 4lbs. On this 11″ stone there will be one measurement on the stone10-11″ in length again random with the other measurement usually less as few are round in shape. The rock is chosen for one face that is clear of defects to ensure a nice clean engraving. These are meant to lie flat on the ground at a grave or in a bed as a memory stone.
