The pendant has an empty chamber that is designed to hold the ashes of your beloved pet upon his or her passing. This listing is for ONLY ONE PENDANT AND ONE KEY RING. We do also sell all of our cremation pendants by themselves, as necklaces on attractive, sturdy stainless steel chains, or on smaller .5″ key rings (as seen in the photos). You can view these in our eBay store, or contact us for assistance. Again, this listing here is for the pendant urn with the larger key ring. The photos are just to show you different angles of the pendant, a comparison between the two sizes of keychains available, and to give you a better feel for the size of the urn itself. This is one of our largest cremation pendants. It measures about 50mm or almost 2 inches tall from the tip of the loop that holds the necklace to the bottom. The width is about 9mm (about 3/8 inch). This pendant is designed to hold ashes, and is also large enough to hold a few strands of fur (long hair would need to be folded). It is also large enough to hold a small bit of ashes from multiple pets that have passed away over time. We have a smaller cylinder in our store if you would prefer something more delicate and feminine, as well as a number of heart-shaped ones, and more. We also have other different, masculine vials with paw prints if you like the more rugged look. The pendant can be filled using a tiny funnel. You can make a funnel out of a sheet of paper, and it will work just fine. First, unscrew the circle cap on the top of the pendant. Tap the ash into the chamber. Be sure to screw the cap back on tightly after filling, but be sure not to over-tighten. Then, the pendant can be worn next to your heart at all times. For a permanent seal, you can use a touch of metal to metal adhesive. Some people prefer they remain able to open to that ashes can be spread in meaningful places, and then refilled. Most people use a touch of superglue to make sure the ashes never spill out, especially if wearing regularly or using on a key ring. Stainless steel is extremely durable. It will not rust, tarnish or discolor skin. You can clean it at any time using rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. The alcohol will not damage any part of it, including the black paw. Keychains do get jostled around quite a bit, so please don’t forget to seal it permanently with superglue to avoid accidental spilling of the cremains.The urn keychain will come sealed in a tiny plastic zip-loc bag, with a little card with information about RescueArtWorks!
